Yeah, I agree too...but really...my parents dont trust anyone. Its insane. Oh well. Im having a jam next weekend with like...5 or 6 people from APK and they have no idea.

I have msn and aim but i am in the process of moving so i rarely get on but i will get back on topic. I would really like a rail section in a park like they have vert sections in skate parks. I would also like there to be little sections where you can practice wall flips and tramps to practice flips. That isn't parkour but hey most people who are sticking truely to parkour aren't really for the pk park. I was also thinking of video cameras that were put all the way through this setion where you would do little runs. The cameras would be put in places where most traucers would travel through on their run. Then you could go to a little booth and type in ur run # and edit it with their editing tools or what ever. That would be a lavish and expensive park but still preaty cool.

Why would the park be so bad if you dont like to compete then dont just go there to practice.

Guys, this is not a personal conversation message board. Please consider that your posts could be viewed by hundreds of people, as this now practically useless thread has been.

When posting consider if:

You are adding something NEW to the thread
You are adding something USEFUL to the thread
You are somehow contributing to the overall goodness that is APK Wink

If you're not, don't post it.

I'd say as a general rule, anyhting less than one complete sentence (subject, verb, maybe even an adjective or adverb thrown in for good measure) is a waste of a post. Yes, add your opinions, yes, add creative ideas, but please, make it sensible and useful, or don't bother.

PK PARK...IS PK A SPORT...No....Is martial arts a sport? No..But are there competitions to see whom is more skilled at their craft. YES. Is business a sport. No..but who is given the raise. He who is most skilled at his craft.

Sure, True Traceurs will never acknowledge this as a "real sport" nor will most people who play "real" sports. Just like purist hip hop heads..Its not music...its a way of life.

I think that those whom say we should not traverse into the realm of conformity is forgetting the art that is Parkour.
To get up, over, through, obstacles most effeciently. And would you say that the most effecient way of spreading the word of Parkour is to use the system that we live in to help promote it. The system is NOT bad. Its just that...a system. Can we use is to our advantage...? And during Prkour Training I know we have all experienced awkward looks....Do you care? So why should we care that laymens think this is a sport. Anyone who is intelligent enough to study the art will recognize its beauty. They deserve to. So in closing I say....PK Parks....Competition....Sport....if it ushers more committed people into the artfrom...Let it arise.
