Hello,

I am posting this to ask you to be a part a worldwide, collaborative parkour film. Parkour Connection is creating a film about the unity of the worldwide parkour scene.  We are trying to show how powerful the worldwide parkour network actually is.  In the film a man drops his wallet at the airport. A respectful traceur reaches to hand it to
him,but the man has already disappeared into the crowd. Looking into the wallet, the traceur discovers the man's destination. Rather than giving up, the traceur leaves the airport, uses parkour to advance the wallet to its destination, and throws the wallet off the screen. In the next scene, another traceur somewhere else in the worldcatches the wallet and continues the wallet's journey accross the world.

How will we get video clips of all these traceurs?  That is up to you. We have added a upload feature on our website where you can submit your own footage. At the end of 4 months we will compile the clips into one film.  Each clip will consist of the wallet entering the left of the creen from the air, a traceur continues the wallet's journey, and throws the wallet off the screen to the right.  In this way it will appear that all the traceurs are working together to move the wallet across the globe.

We realize that the parkour community churns out dozens of movies each week, so the next time you are out with a camera, please take the time to submit a short clip (less than 30 seconds). If you would like to participate or learn more please visit our website at:

We believe this project has ENORMOUS potential for worldwide parkour so, for the sake of the greater community, participate!  If you like this idea please spread the word!

Thank you,

Parkour Connection

That sounds neat.  If you want to wait a LONG while, I could do both VA AND TOronto.  LoL.

Whatever you can do to participate would be fine.  We already have Atlanta, GA.  Glad you are interested!

Hahaha, this sounds like an awesome idea. I might get a camera tomorrow and film, or wait til' perhaps the Merry Men can get together and do a segment.
Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Guys, as much as it's appreciated, we don't need 600 replies that "I will be helping out" ... just send your vid, that will be good enough proof that you want to help Smiley

Yes, that would be great...we still have only very few submissions...but I think the people here will do more than just say it's a great idea and actually film something Tongue

.nico,

what type of wallet should it be? (i'm thinking for continuity reasons)
it'd be kinda weird to have the wallet transform between shots.

Animus,

A leather wallet would be best..and try to keep it generic, i.e. not a quadruple-fold password-protected wallet device.

Hehe, hope that makes sense.
