I've wanted to have one here for a while because balston seems to go largely unnoticed as a hot spot, and while there are afew places there i train at, im sure theres more to be found after a little exploration
Where: we'll meet up at the balston metro station
When: sun dec 14th 2pm
we are gonna play around at the metro for mabey 10- 20 minutes before moveing on. if you cant find us give me a call

As the jam organizer you can offer your cell phone number, or find someone who is willing to volunteer their information. It's also a good idea to spend a little bit of time warming up/playing around near the Metro as you wait for late arrivals.

I'm probably in... I've also been eyeing the GMU campus over in that area as well as a local high school (I think its just one metro stop earlier and close enough to walk to from Ballston). If Salil has any say, he'll probably vote for post-jam Super Pollo's magical peruvian chicken... haha.
There's also some fun stuff to play on while waiting for people by the Ballston metro if I remember correctly (there's a concrete recessed area where people lock their bikes that looks fun...).

Ooh yeah. I was out training there a few months ago when I had to pay my credit card bill at a random CitiBank since the internet wasn't working. It doesn't have a WHOLE lot and what's there is really small, but it can be fun. |
