so after watching many videos of some of the most experienced practitioners i realized that many when performing kongs they have their legs real close together and shorter then their actual stride length ( look at blane's catpass at 4:08, his normal stride length is a lot longer then the distance his legs are for the take off of the kong,

so i guess my overall question is what makes the kong better a longer stride takeoff or a shorter one and if you don't know, which do you do and prefer
