not my best, was a little beat from the previous days "all parkour" session, ( went 100% purist, no flips at all)
the only measurement i took was with my feet, my feet are almost exactly a foot long, sliiightly under, and this gap was like 19-20 *steps, from edge of the block to edge of the landing pad, but as you can see, i launched from the beginning of the block, so probably a bit more than that,

19-20 paces, or 19-20 end-to-end steps? 20 paces would be well over 40 feet. Either way, that's an awesome composite. I would love to take a picture of myself like that.

That looks cool but how did you stop such momentum landing against that thing?

Quite a bit of impact to stop all by itself. You must have power in those legs. At least I hope you do bro.

i can press 1120, i think it might have something to do with the fact i spent every recess from 1st-8th grade jumping from the top of those fire poles, i didn't know it at the time, but isn't that the same thing as pressing my own weight (X) how ever many g's i was pulling when i hit the ground?

So about a 20 foot jump??? I can barely get 8 feet. I've seen 15 feet jumps in videos, but 20! .....

i get a whole lot of help from the block converting my sprint into up, and its not quite 20 yet, id estimate anywhere between a modest 17-19 im bringing a tape measurer to the next session, and il get some more accurate measurements.

Of coarse he does, hh just jumped near twenty feet, and second he's landing on a crash pad. On the other hand, that's amazingly far. I would love to see this in a slo-mo HD video. I've seen more of your stuff, with a good camera so don't disappoint me now, you never had before, your shit is crazy.

hehe thanks for that!, and i've got the canon HG10 it can make slow mo look pretty smooth.. not anything like a high speed camera, but its still pretty sweet.
now THIS saturday i'm going to focus primarily on finding out my absolute maximum jump, so i have something to build on.
il be sure to post the footage on monday. keep a watchful eye!
