For any non-Guamanians, that's "Hi and hello....mofos"...lol.

Just getting a feel for the new Guam board, and decided to create an introduction post for all the local traceurs out there.  First name, age, and village should be a good start.

Guess I'll start: I'm Tom, I'm 28, and I'm from Dededo(Liguan Terrace).

NEXT! lol

Sorry for the long delay, everybody, I've been busy for quite some time, training and workin' around some RL thangs.

We  -  by which I mean me and my friends Nick and Jason(formerly of HiPK)  -  have started an introductory parkour course at Island Twisters, a local gymnastics gym.  The indoor session is on Thursdays from 9-10 pm, but most of our training is still done outside, as it's pretty difficult to fully train parkour with the limited equipment the gym has.  We mostly just use the padded environment so newbies can learn safe vaults and rolls without the additional fear of breaking their assbones.

For those of you who don't know where the gym is at, it's on Pick-A-Nail Road in Tamuning, behind AK and the Tamuning Denny's.  Take the road between AK and Denny's and just keep going back, past the 4-way intersection.  Once you pass the 4-way, the gym is about a quarter mile down the road, on the left, next to the go-kart place.

Entrance fee is $10 a head.  We're not the ones getting paid, that's just what the gym owners are charging each of us to use the space. (Yes, even the guys running the course have to pay to get in...lol.)  You'd think they would charge us less, given that there's 15+ of us now, but eh...*shrug*...what are you gonna do, right? lol...You have to sign a waiver, though, so I'm not sure whether minors are allowed to attend the class without a parent or guardian's signature.  But I hope to see you guys there!  If you need to get ahold of me, my Myspace is http://www.myspace.com/cheekymonkey .

-Tom

P.S. If you can't make the gym session, we do train outdoors, although our schedules make it difficult for all of us to train together at once.  I usually train solo on Monday and Friday, 4-6 pm, at Skinner's Plaza or Latte Stone Park, but I occasionally come out on Sundays to train with Jason when he has a free day.  I'll keep you guys posted.
