Do you leap before you look.... Or do you look before you leap.

I just dont jump off of building but I did jump off a elevated level and it was more of a fall than I thought but it wasnt to big..I need to look more often before I get hurt.

In a perfect world you should know exactly what you're jumping to or the dimensions of anything you're going to do, though you should play with it a bit and your ability to adapt in training, so that if a situation arised and you happened to take a chance and could possibly adapt to stay safe, you can do so

That being said, don't be stupid and hurt yourself

When you're out training, always stay within your abilities when it comes to drops so you don't hurt yourself. If you want to practice adaptation to drops then try to find a bunch of obstacles with heights you can handle, then just run around. Stay safe though.

You should inspect all surfaces you're going to land on ever. if possible.

I agree.
A friend of mine tried to do a sort of turn vault into a presicion on a rail that was over a staircase.. he landed on the rail and it totally gave way under his feet and broke away from the wall.
Luckily he had a good grip on the first rail he vaulted so he didnt fall to his doom.
Look before you leap.
