I have problems landing dive rolls without eating grass or not connecting my roll at the end.  Huh?

Have to use your arms to absorb to your shoulder and then continue into the roll, and your roll has to be pretty damn spot on as it is. Could also be strength issue as well

It's all about absorbing correctly with your arms before you continue the rest of it.

I had a problem with this one too.

I used to do the roll halfway, but then land on my back.

Get a running start, then jump out, extending your arms, and go into a parkour roll.

Here is the most important part:

Tuck into a ball.  I didn't realize that I wasn't doing this.  Then just allow the roll to finish and get up and keep running.

The dive roll has a lot more momentum than the normal roll, so tucking into a ball is extremely important.

To work on getting the proper arm absorption, try initiating the roll from a handstand.  If you can get a solid roll out of a handstand, you should be able to comfortably move on to a diving roll.  Also, if you want to work on height progression, have a friend use a stick.  Dive over it and have him move the stick higher and higher.
