Okay so basically, its lunch time, im 15 years old, and the senior steroid football players were all playing football. Me and my friends are chilling out on the grass and the ball ends up by my feet. I picked it up and gave it a kick... the wind must've caught it or something cause that ball went flyying flying flyiinggggggggg anddd right onto the roof of my school. =o

So i'm sitting there about 5'7'' 140 pounds MAYBE, and i've got the entire senior football team PRETTY pissed that they cant continue there afternoon game of ball... the roof is pretty unnaccessable, and i had never been up there before. but i told the team "rest assured! i shall get it..." (in reality i had NO idea what i was to do next....)

but then i saw it, it was a little metal cage placed oh-so perfectly against the wall,  a hop off that, and my first foot hits the wall, and i pop and reach like i have NEVER reached before.

i grab and hang for a second in disbelief, and pull myself up.
i make quick work of finding the ball and toss it onto the grass,

i hear a rumbling cheer from over the edge and i sigh and realize i wont be riding my bike home bloody.

and THAT is how parkour saved my ass.

oh we had a little terrible PK team that consisted of.......... my friends  matt ian gareth eric and will...  so 6 people including me. it was pretty sweet because at the end of school.. we were already all together. so we could just go straight to the Pk spots from there.

but if i wasn't completely in love with parkour... then that experience really cemented it into my blood. and i haven't had a day pass where i have thought about anything else Cheesy

It would have been even worse if, after getting up there and feeling awesome, kicking the ball back to them and somehow getting it lost or stuck again.
That'd just be unfortunate.

Epic indeed, congrats. I'm sure those foot ball players didn't know what to think. I'm surprised they didn't ask you to play for them lol.

I think it's supposed to mean "more wise". From "Sophos" (Greek for "wise") and "more"... since in your second year you are supposed to be a bit wiser than what you were in your freshman year....Great story none the less Cheesy
