I'm looking for a good place to train somewhere near Harrisburg, PA.  I can't seem to find any good gyms with all the mats and pads and things ><

Hey PhreshToast!  Check out ASAP.  www.artisticsportsacademyplus.com   This is where we go.  They have an open gym every Sunday, and are very "parkour friendly."  If you can get a ride out there, our club will be there this Sunday July 26th.  It is from 3:30-5:00pm and costs $10.  So far, this is the only place we've found in the area that is willing to accomodate us.  Anyway, hope to see you there.

I'm not positive if they still do this but:

Parkour practice sessions at Starz Gym in Reno Nevada.
$10 for non members $5 for members
Every saturday at 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Traceurs and Traceuses only.
It's open gym for those interested in parkour.

You are supposed to download and print off the health waiver but it's not on the site anymore.

Hey Jake,
There's plenty in Pennsylvania.  Maybe you could be a bit more specific about where in PA you're looking for a gym?

Ashley,
Check out http://tumbletimegymnastics.com/. I can't verify how parkour friendly they are, but they do offer open gym time.  I'm not from Boise, but just google "Boise gymnastics open gym" like I did, and you should have a good start at finding a place.  From my experience with gyms, just call them ahead of time, explain what it is you want to do, and see if they're okay with it.  They may know about parkour or you may have to explain it to them.  Good luck.

Temecula, CA
D.C. Gymnastics (Tumble Jungle)
Every wednesday from 7-8:30, we have open gym.
The Gym is Pk friendly, but only allows 50 people for open gym.
The fee is only $5. (have to have a liability waiver signed tho, but if over 18, sign for yourself)

Also, to show their Support for Pk, they started a Parkour Class, every wednesday from 6-7.
I teach the PK class there. (Along with my friend Jimmy, who leads the TVHS pk team.)
The fee for that is $65/ Month, but also includes entry to Open Gym.

As well, every Friday night, they have Parents night out, (PNO) and it varies every other week from 2hr and four hrs.. as i Know more info, Ill post here. (i usually dont go to PNO, so idk the times.)

But thats the only training area that parents are accepting, cause of pads and saftey features.

Thats the only Gym in Temecula area that i know accepts Parkour.
