Wall Climbing

I have a problem with wall climbing. Everyone in my pk crew can use their momentum to get up the wall really quickly, but I always seem to have to muscle it up. I do put a foot on the wall to boost me up, but i dont know about my arms. What do I do?

Not sure. You can swing your leg over, and if it's in a corner just push off the wall to boost you up. This is one of the stuff that some strength helps in parkour.

This looks like a similar problem to your post about the tic tac. Make sure you are pushing into the wall, downward at about 45 degrees in order to get the most push off of it with your foot. As for muscling up, try to take the momentum from your step and translate it as fluidly as possible into pulling yourself up or over the wall. There may be a lot of upper body strength required, but keep practicing and it will come to you.

Demon's got a pretty nice drill somewhere on here about wall climb progression and kicking your feet off to get momentum to bring em up. I found it very useful

One thing to remember is to focus on the
top
of the wall rather then foot placement. As long as you jump at the right point, your foot should automatically go where it needs to go.
It's a technique that I learned is not only affective in PK, but in life itself. Keep your eyes focused on your goal rather then the obstacle in your path.

Sometimes I have that problem.. Im able to get high enough by doing the pull up... but the real problem comes when I try to get ontop.. I put my forearms on the top of the wall and try to pull up.. but I trying to do the hand switch from the pull to the pushing to get up the wall.
