I just finished looking through all the fitness test records we have archived at the COPK academy over the past 2 yrs. I have established top 5 leader boards for each test for men and women. Check them out and maybe it will provide you with some motivation to get your own name up there. If that kind of thing doesn't get you motivated, its an interesting thing to look at and go work on your fitness level anyway. Tongue

The sit ups are a solid benchmark for introductory fitness. Once you get up around 70-90 in 2 min., it doesn't really do you much more good. Same thing with some of these other fitness tests, they are good for starting out but as you get higher numbers, there are better things to do. We will be adding some of these soon such as muscle ups and handstand push ups.

I think I've experienced something of that sort. But it doesn't hurt. =)

Man, I'm psyched to get back to teaching. I've been gone since the Nat. Jam. =( Sucks.

Question about the broad jump, is it from where your toes start to where your heals land, or where your toes land. Cuz I measured yesterday, and from toe to toe I've got around 9' 7", but toe to heal is like 9' 2". Thankee.

its farthest point forward at the start to the farthest back point on your landing.

Alright, well I'll have to make a score board for myself this week, then do it again before my project.

for further clarification, the push up test is your max reps in 1 minute. sit ups is max reps in 2 minutes. pull ups is max reps without letting go/down.
