I am currently in training to begin parkour. For the most part i am doing very well in working on getting stronger. But i do need to work on flexibility (barley can touch my toes). Other than stretching regularly, what else can i do?

Thank you in advance

Only thing you can do for flexibility is stretch.

Pavel Tsatsouline and Thomas Kurz are good resources. You can look -up Dynamic flexibility(very important for Parkour) and static flexibility. See if that helps.

Pavel's book is good, never read Kurz's resources though...

If you are going to read shit by Pavel, though, take statements like "SOVIET SCIENTIST SAY..." with a grain of salt...

didn't want to start a new thread, but what are some thoughts on resistance stretching? I checked out innovative body solutions' youtube sample through some linkage from performancemenu, and it seems like a solid idea..i just found out about it today, though i'm interested in trying it out a bit.

Amensky Commrade that does get old;)

I didn't try to find a price for the innovative body solutions. If from watching it you like the looks of it and it sounds solid, why not give it a try, maybe wait and see if you can download it from a torrent site. If you like it and it works for you I wouldn't sweat what others think.

A couple more resources are RenegadeTraining.com and Body Flow by Scott Sonnon at rmaxinternational.com/
