There wasn't a spot to comment on this on the main page, so I started a thread. If the mods want to move this or whatever, feel free.

I just wanted to say, Zach, that is a great article! I totally feel you on the "slow to catch on" thing. It's true and I think a lot of us have experienced the situation of seeing parkour with friends, and going out to try it, and then having most or all of those original friends quit after a few times. It can be lonely going, that's for sure, especially since parkour is so hard and takes so much commitment and dedication. So, good for you for sticking with it! And even though you might feel "alone" you certainly are not alone!

A very nice article. Well done!

I was just skimming through the paper on saturday then BOOM! Big parkour article on the front page of the Living section. I immediatley read it, and it was a really good piece, Zach did a very good job explaining parkour as a disipline, perfect example of a well informed traceur.
And I have to say he really hit the nail on the head wth the "slow to catch on" quote. I know of only 7 tracuers in the Omaha area (including my team and Zach)  Tongue
