Plenty of people start when they are 250+ and get their weight down...

I would suggest setting a weight loss goal while working on lower impact flow and proprioceptive work like balance and rail drills as well as things like monkey planting and QM.

Simply "waiting" will get u nowhere.

Put together a high intensity routine, fix your diet and lose the weight and you will be good to go!

Hey, I was a fat guy when I started!  Ask Leon or Mark!

I'm still pretty chub-chub, but the movements get easier.  TK17's on the chunkier side like I am, and he moves pretty well, too.  Honestly, just start training and you'll lose some weight.  Do the proper workouts (high-intensity), eat clean, and you'll lose, as well.

Same boat here, my friend.  I was pretty overweight when I first got into parkour (and I've still got a bit of a lingering gut), but I've come amazingly far in less than six months.  I only started eating right a few weeks ago, and that's making a HUGE difference already.

Wow I never thought so many people started parkour when they were overweight. I'm telling you with parkour weights conidtioning and good eating I've lost about 30 pounds in about 3 months. Start now, and if you stick to it you'll never look back.

Most of us learned about PK from the BBC documentaries or the internet. Let's face it; many of us were couch potatoes.

Be careful though. If you notice aches and pains in the joints... it's a good time to back off and take more rest. It's easier to get overuse injuries when you're bigger.

As you get smaller, it will get better though.
