please tell me your thoughts on this site i have been working on it for some time, the home page was designed by a fellow traceur in tucson named "David Grimes", i can get you his contact if you would like any work done.  Thanks to all my peers and traceurs for giveing me strength to continue on, as we all know life is a constant struggle and Parkour makes life worth living and shows that even in the wors of times we can always progress ourselves and look to the future if we stay steady in the present and learn from the past.

the site is still in development but I just couldn't help myself so take a peek. Grin Grin Grin Grin

Honestly, it seems a little egoistic for an "allied federation."  If you're trying to propel yourself, great, but I wouldn't do it under the guise of community.

I feel your absolutely right in saiying that, the federation is actually a group of traceurs that will be added to the site shortely There are several of us out here that will be leading the site and soon there will be a forum, also the site was originaly my resume page so it's going to have more of me on it ha ha  Grin  I don't get on to American Parkour much so I thought I would like to see what others felt the site expressed.  I am doing this for the community as much as for my self.   Others are helping me and they will be credited.  The APTF funds jams, is going to start helping new local traceurs stick to their regimes by sponsoring them in buying equipment, we feel that though the ones who have been practicing the longest definitely deserve the most credit but the ones who have just started are at a greater risk to give up Parkour for the new practitioners may feel that they are too behind of everyone else, or job is encouragment, shelter, and we act as a sort of a benefactor to help others start out.  We want to give out teh right message of teachers to encourage their students, It is true that though one needs to eventually  to do Parkour for themself, but they may need encouragment at the beginning to push through and to feel that others respect them, enjoy them, and that their practice means something to others.  In our opinion the practice is more important, as smart genuine practice,  You will see what I mean when the documentary comes out in the next few months, It is entirely made by us.

we needed a name that gave a bit of nerdy feel to it, it just so happened everyone out here wanted to be a part of some sort of "federation" so we responded with the name.  Hopefully it's not to odd of a name but so far we just go by the APTF, thanks for your comments.
