People bring this exacerbated topic up way too often. There are no "best" exercises, just good routines that involve functional movements that help the individual achieve his/her personal goals.

regardless, your question is too vague.  maybe if you described what type of strength or certain techniques you would like to improve on, then someone could answer your question.  no one is gonna respond to someone on a forum that doesn't seem willing enough to make an attempt to do some research on his or her own.  sometimes you need to figure things out on your own.  i dont think anyone is gonna break down an entire routine just for you even though they have no idea as to what your current physical level is.

Give CF a try.  Since you can't really specialize weight training specifically for PK.

IMHO fitness should be done in the following steps:
1) Starting Strength
2) CrossFit OR SimpleFit
3) Personalized Goals

Start with step 1 if you're serious.

if you're not so serious, u can skip to step 2 but you still need to be pretty serious.  Simplefit requires very little equipment.  CrossFit requires a bit more equipment.

Once you have a good base in these 2 things, then you can move on to personalized goals - but thats just my opinion.  Of course, if one of your goals isn't to be a metabolic beast then you don't need to do step 2.

Really, its about you...

Just to clarify,

Chris is referring to "Starting Strength" by Mark Rippetoe. Must have book if you want to maximize strength gains and you are of beginner or intermediate strength
