Do YOU have what it takes to be the next American Ninja Warrior?

G4’s American Ninja Challenge is BACK for a THIRD round and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!!! We’re giving you yet another chance to prove your mettle and earn the right to compete in Ninja Warrior, the world’s most difficult and diabolical obstacle course competition. The nationwide search for our next American Ninja Warrior challengers has started--and this time, we’ll be taking the THREE best ninjas to Japan to compete!

Starting Tuesday July 1, Ninja Warrior viewers can submit videos demonstrating the extraordinary physical skills necessary to conquer Ninja Warrior’s notoriously difficult obstacles. We’re looking for warriors with strength, speed, agility, balance and endurance. Your video also needs to prove you have the on-screen charisma to stand out from the hundreds of other potential Ninja Warrior contestants.

Submission deadline is July 31 so check out www.g4tv.com/ninjawarrior for details--and get your cameras rollin’!

21?!? You have to be twenty-one to enter? Son-of-a-[edited for content], mother-[edited for content], [edited for content]-wiping,[edited for content], [edited for content], little [edited for content], [edited for content].

Then again, it's no real suprise... still love G4.

Maybe the 21-year-old rule should edited for content? Tongue I agree, I'm 20 and I would love to see what I can do... I don't understand why you'd have to be old enough to drink alcohol in order to be a ninja... Tongue

Seeing as how this thread is pretty off-topic to begin with, I'll throw in another:

The overuse of the word "Warrior" really bugs me.  Marketing is marketing, but I wish people would resist the urge to label talented and dedicated athletes warriors.

The only three shows I used to watch was SpongeBob quite a bit, Man vs. Wild a lot, and Ninja Warrior so so very much. So I think I can say there not really warriors at all, they train hard and are very deticated, but not really the warrior type.

The 21 rule is understandable, along with any and all other restrictions made by G4.  I mean, if you let just any average Joe Shmoe have at the course, the show would end up something more like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32iPKBUSK9E

(The real highlight begins at 6:09.  His entire run is EPIC. Sarcasm - Akh Sarcasm - Akh Seriously, I laughed so hard.)
