Each SS training day consists of three movements.

Get the book, damnit! lol

My workouts last about 1.5 hours.  But I also augment SS with flexibility work and assistance exercises.  Without those, i think you can be done in under an hour.

wow, i just stumbled onto this thread, but you guys are saying that on this SS diet you drink a gal of milk a day and get stronge without gaining body fat? So do you just drink the milk or do you eat regular food throughout the day?

You're going to gain fat when trying to gain muscle unless you're just beginning a weight training schedule.  With SS, a clean diet (zone/paleo pref.), and a gal of milk you're going to minimize the fat gained.

SS is a whole program involving weight training and a gallon of milk a day in addition to a normal, balanced diet.  Its not "the SS diet" or something silly like that,

You're going to gain fat when trying to gain muscle unless you're just beginning a weight training schedule.  With SS, a clean diet (zone/paleo pref.), and a gal of milk you're going to minimize the fat gained.

Personally, I put on about 15 lbs so far and 11-13 of it has been lean.

That's pretty minimal compared to most of the body builders I work with.  Good job, that's about what I put on before my injury.

I should have said, I have only been on it about a month and a half..

After 9 months, its likely that I will have put on 30-40# of mass.

I am currently 180-182, started at around 165-168
