I've been following this movie for a few years, now, ever since I got an email back from Jeff Belle saying that David's doing it and couldn't talk. The release date is officially August 29th. I've seen some clips of it already via French forums and whatnot, and it looks like it'll be pretty good. Plus, Hans Zimmer composes the soundtrack.

Does David play a part or a stuntman?

I believe he has a role, but as to what that is, I'm not sure yet.

So... according to every review I've read this movie is a bust. I dunno if people had the wrong ideas for it or what but I think I still want to see this movie. Vin is one of my favorite actors.

The director even says he hates the movie. "I’m very unhappy with the film," he says. "I never had a chance to do one scene the way it was written or the way I wanted it to be. The script wasn’t respected. Bad producers, bad partners, it was a terrible experience." "It’s pure violence and stupidity," he admits. "The movie is supposed to teach us that the education of our children will mean the future of our planet. All the action scenes had a goal: They were supposed to be driven by either a metaphysical point of view or experience for the characters… instead parts of the movie are like a bad episode of 24." "Fox was sending lawyers who were only looking at all the commas and the dots," he says. "They made everything difficult from A to Z." The last stroke, Kassovitz says, was when Fox interfered with the editing of the film, paring it down to a confusing 93 minutes (original reports were that 70 minutes were cut from the film; Kassovitz says the number is closer to 15). "I should have chosen a studio that has guts," he says. "Fox was just trying to get a PG-13 movie. I’m ready to go to war against them, but I can’t because they don’t give a s–t." more at http://filmdrunk.uproxx.com/?p=2477

“You do freerunning or parkour, I don’t know, but both are the same. Some people are worried about it, but they are people that don’t train for too long, people that…in terms of training, aren’t mature yet. […] One day I’d like to wake up, open my window, and everyones doing parkour." -Ali Shelton

Wow, this movie is ..... so-so. I just got done watching it and i gotta say that it was half cheesy half amazing. As far as Parkour, there was a substantial amount. There were at least 6 traceurs in the movie and until reading your comments i didn't even know bell was in it. He doesn't play a big role at all.

I thought the movie was awesome until the very ending. 7/10 David is in more than 10 shots in the movie and you can tell it's him because he's looking right at ya.... well... close to "at you" ^_^.

In a recent article i read it said the director didn't even get to do what he wanted. He said 20th century fox cut out most of what he wanted in it. I don't blame him too 20th Century Fox sucks.

Just because one has trained under harsher conditions doesn't mean they are better than you, but what does is their dedication.

I watched it and it was about an 8/10 until the parkour section with parkour techniques being used then it went to a 10/10... Then the ending came brought it down to a 4/10, it made no sence and was just stupid. But the parkour was sweet

David Bell played a barely notice-able role from my view.. but i thought the movie was half-awesome half-retarded. they should have done some coreography with the fight scenes instead of close up like htat. it was hard to understand the story line cause the fight scenes didnt add to the story then it flashed somewhere and you are like . anyways i think that it was an ok movie...

A bad traceur does a move untill he gets it right. A great traceur does it untill he is not able to get it wrong.

***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** When David got killed at the end of the movie, I was like, "F#@K!" And people looked at me like,"What, Vin Deisel didn't die?" It was sorta funny.
I really liked this movie tho. =]
