I like how that's organized...and demon is a beast!  M2, perhaps you could keep all stats organized in a list in the first post?  Might make this thread a bit more useful...at least at a glance.

Steven Low - 09/2007 - 9'5"

I'm pretty sure I hit a 9'6" or 9'7" once but I can't find it in my log. Meh. I'm sooo irked that I can't jump right now cause of the knee. Sad
9'5 AND you feel that you cant jump because of your knee ... dang

I wish..... that was pre-knee injury.

Ozzi 6-17-08 9'3"

(There is a gap in my house that is 9'8" on the dot but I took a few off from the tip of my foot sticking out at take off and a few more from my heal sticking out as well at landing.)

It is funny I find that when I jump from and to something I jump much more than if I just jumped on flat ground.

Well it brings up a good point. Theoretically you can do a precision jump that is close to 1 foot longer than your standing broad jump on level ground. This is because you can stick your toes over the edge on takeoff and land with heels over the edge on landing. Also, I think pushing off from the corner of a wall might aid in a little extra distance.

Guys - how should we handle discussion Vs. stats - I feel the discussion take away form the usefulness of the stats - but of course the discussion is important as well. Should we have two threads for each measurable item?

I really like how you put a stat summary in the first post of the thread.  I know it would be a pain to keep up, but if someone maintained that list, then you could have just one thread.  If you wanted I could easily write a small computer program that scans all the posts in a thread and pulls out peoples stats and then sends you an email with a nice sorted list that you could use to update the first post.

I did that.

If you want to write that program be my guest.
