Hey guys im new to Parkour ( found a video of it on the internet) and im addicted to it.  I just started about 2 weeks ago and i even made a little obstacle course in my backyard.  I tried to improve myself by walking/jogging around my neigborhood everyday and it started to help a little as far as my speed goes.  But after about a week of jogging my calves started to ache, not bad, so i shook it off, but now its gotten to where it hurts for me to just walk.  i dont mean to sound like im complaining or whining but i just wanna no if i jogged to much for it to cause that.

take a few days rest and it should hopefully go away. if it doesnt, it might be something more serious than just common muscle soreness.

Thanks and i think ur right oh and i found out how to get an avattar i just needa resize the pic so forget that question. 
       Yeah ill just rest for a couple days and hopefully it goes away.

right now my left calve hurts really bad i just need to strengthen it though so im doing one legged squats

once your calves stop hurting (when they've strengthened), I'd recommend running barefoot.  start out slowly, for only a few minutes on some soft ground, but proper running technique while running barefoot turns one's calves into monsters.  this is advantageous to parkour

Yeah Ive started running barefoot too. I started out by just walking the dog barefooted and now I can easily run 2 or 3 km or so, after 2 weeks.
