You know what? I love this. This really does stop the bullshit.
I have a mutual respect for everyone here. They're all using their real names and it is easy to relate to everyone. Like, it isn't just, "Oh I know traceurs over the internet." It is "Oh I know traceurs." Like, without that screen name wall I feel like this is a much more friendly atmosphere. And I just act like I normally act. I'm sure everyone else does too.

Well, I don't want to release my real name, so I've used parts of my name as well as their meanings to make my username. Plus I think it sounds cool and accurate to my personality. (Get it, frank judge, hahaha. )

Well, I've changed to my real name. I have no problem giving my name away, I'm an adult(18) and all that jazz but I'd caution our younger tracuers when using it. Just be safe guys.

I concur with using of real names. While it does have some risk, since many people are so willing to give away the general area they life in (like I'll freely tell you I'm in Kansas), but it does help finding someone you may know in real life. Honestly, a friend from school who was looking into Parkour found me on this site. We don't really train together, but it's awesome to finally have someone to have a conversation with.

I changed mine. I used the first syllable of my last name so I don't get any creepers. Good thing I'll be getting some parkour moves after I get my leg cast off to run away from guys with candy.

If this exercise in transparency brings our community one step closer to one another, or facilitates binding the community together even one degree more than it was before, then I would say it was a success.. so thanks to all who have participated in it, starting first with Mark because he took the idea and brought it to life on this forum, and second to all the participants, who as a group acted on it and made some positive changes happen.

I'm a bit confused how to change the name Do you just go to"my APK" --> "edit" --> "update profile" --> "contact info" then enter your real name under "nickname"? It then says that occupation and some other stuff are required fields...

no from the little menu on here at the top you like profile, then on the left account related settings, then in the field 'Name' you change it.

That's because your name is longer than a frieght train. You can put "Jesse Hardcoretraceur Danger" as your title, perhaps?
