I refuse to fully part with Kipup. We've been through far to much together.

I actually have more people who know my nickname than my real name(thanks network tv!) but I do like the idea. Secretly my hope is that everyone will change to their real names and I'll be the only one left with a super cool nickname. I'm a rebel without a cause. I think I'll go buy a leather jacket.

lmao at M2s comment. but ya more people know my nicknames then my actual name. its kinda sad. even some of my really good friends that ive known for awhile use my nickname so much that they forget my actual name sometimes. ive been called variations of my last name since pre-k so i tend to stick with it.

This is a great idea Ryan and Muhammad. Thanks for bringing to the light M2.
However my issue is that more people call me "Kyper" in real life then Kyle. It's unique, so I'm easy to remember.
I'm just gonna keep it in quotations if that's not an issue?

That is a good idea, however there is the issue with very young kids and parents who are always checking for internet predators. Some may not allow for that to happen. On the other hand, it does get more personal and even better for jams. I am glad I do use my name. Edit: Another thing, do add your old used name as a title or something so we ll can know who you are. It would suck not knowing who is it you were messing with in the past about acai

That's why it isn't mandatory.

This is actually kind of cool. Now people will kinda know each other better, just because they know they're first name.

Yes - not madatory at at all. There may be some very good contributors to the forums who for some reason or other don't want to share their real names - again, it is usually evident from someone's post whether they know what they are talking about or not! This is just an extra step to be "transparent" - acting on behalf of yourself with the same courtesy and respect (or the same lack thereof) you would use in person.
