Laser Eye Surgery

I was considering having this done, especially when i'm young because I am practically blind without my glasses (Helping with PK is just a sweet side effect). Has anyone had this done that could give me any advice on whether I should or shouldn't do this?

Probably not the best place to ask for this advice..

We can hardly give you sound advice on whether you should or shouldn't do this surgery. Best to ask your ophthalmologist really.

The surgery, in my education and experience, is pretty reliable and major advancements have been made to make it a very safe procedure. Most places can guarantee at least 20/20 vision.

I would do it if I were you...but that's just me based on personal opinion from my experience and education - not medical advice.

I have pretty poor eyesight, and when I asked my doctor about it he said to wait. Part of the reason is that a person's eye can change shape up until they are about 20 or 21. Though it's come a long way, lasik is still hella expensive to have re-done Tongue
