java chiller, granola, 10 slices of pizza, cherry limeade...

i would estimate your diet is well over 75% or maybe even 80% carb.  Only thing that might be bringing that down a bit is the ridic amount of fat in the granola and bacon (and tacos, depending on the topping)

This, combined with the fact that you eat cake/ice cream on most other days is a bad combination.

Hey, this is totally up to you, but if you are really looking to optimize performance you would fix this diet.  I said it before, and as to not be a pain, I won't say it anymore Tongue  however, it is worth repeating one more time since I know you are really dedicated.

if you have any sort of weight loss goals (6-pack, 8-10% BF, anything like that) then you are seriously hindering yourself.

Honestly, i am not quite sure why you are logging what you eat since it hasn't gotten better and you know its not the best...?

No offense intended by any of this, just trying to help.

Happy training!

No offense taken.
I know man but it is pretty hard to always be eating right as you are not always in control.
As last night yeah 10 slices of pizza haha pretty bad, but I was at my new house painting and thats all there was to eat as we ordered it.
And we are not the most avid grocery shoppers in that when we need to go we dont for awhile.

Like usually for lunch I prepare a lettuce wrap to minimize carbs by eliminating bread,
but one head of lettuce runs out pretty quickly,
which is when i started taking ramen for lunch which has more carbs,
i guess i need more lunch things that have less carbs?
That I can take to school.
But I'm not exactly too sure WHAT i can do for that.

You're right I did have ice cream just about every night. I kinda made a habit of eating something sweet after dinner and i wasnt sure ice cream was too bad for you, but it makes sense that it is. It is a habit that I can easily break but i'd still like to indulge in something sweet, so what kind of things should i be looking for that would be healthy options to maintain this habit?

I would like to fix it and I do put some effort into it : lettuce wraps for lunch, eggs or meat for breakfast, fruits for breakfast and lunch, etc.
but I'm not sure what else i can do,
besides buy my own food hahah.
because all those healthy things run out pretty quickly when they get eaten everyday.

And I do have a six pack my friend! Alas it could be more toned but hey its there  Wink

I don't exactly have weight loss goals, but I know I'm still hindering optimal performance.

A part of it is how much we go shopping, as the healthy things I choose run out pretty quickly. I think a part of it might be financial issues we cant afford to go shopping like twice a month, which would be ideal to support the kind of diet i would like. But I'm sure there is ways around it that im just not seeing, food that would be better that i just dont know about. Because you said to make sure everything you eat is just pretty much not processed and is more or less natural  which is what I aim for but yeah it just doesnt seem to be enough, it runs out fast like I said. I need like a personal shooping assistant hahah. I dont know.

I log my diet so that I stay aware of it. You're right I do know it's not the best, which is why I stay aware of it to know when it is good and when it isn't.

But thank you for your feedback it's apprecieated as always, and I'll work on it as best I can and I take alot of what you say to mind even if it doesnt show much in this ol training log of mine ahhah.

hope to see you around sometime as well my friend.
thanks again.

Do you drive?  Be pro-active.  Ask your mom for her credit card and go to Safeway and do shopping for yourself, if she will allow it.

Like usually for lunch I prepare a lettuce wrap to minimize carbs by eliminating bread,

This stems back to getting the right foods in your house.  Try above suggestion.  When i was your age, my mom would have been thrilled to hear that I wanted to do the food shopping.

Ice cream is typically pretty bad but it also depends on the brands.  Try to get Breyer's as they don't use HFCS.

A good alternative is to get used to eating fruit as your source of sweets.

I would like to fix it and I do put some effort into it : lettuce wraps for lunch, eggs or meat for breakfast, fruits for breakfast and lunch, etc.
but I'm not sure what else i can do,
besides buy my own food hahah.

Keep it up, try the proactive solution i recommend above to get the right foods around you.

And I do have a six pack my friend! Alas it could be more toned but hey its there  Wink

Damn your good genetics and body type -- it makes it harder to motivate you to eat right!

Leftover wings arent too bad Tongue
