Not Parkour or Freerunning / Consumer Whores / Re: Are nike frees good parkour shoes?

They are pretty bare minimum in support and such. When you open the box for the shoe, it includes a guide that tells you to first walk around with them to get your feet conditioned towards not having the usual support. Running doesn't come into play until a couple of weeks later when you've strengthened your feet by bouncing around in them.
I walked in those shoes for about 8 months before I learned about Parkour, so the shoe had already conditioned my feet somewhat. When I started training, I already had the 8 months of walking built into my foot so running and jumping with them weren't much of a problem. Like I said before, it's easy to hurt your toes since the top of the shoe offers little more than a SOCK'S thickness to protect you. I love to parkour in my Nike Free's, but I did not buy them for parkour. It just kind of worked out that way. But I did walk in them for 8 months before taking my first jump.

Really? Asians are predisposed to NOT have six-packs? Is that statistically sound? I'm Asian and my bro, my cousin, some of my uncles and I are all six-packin'. It runs in the family However, my dad and his brothers were all pot bellied I see my alternate futures and I train even harder...

From what I've read and heard, Bruce Lee was around .5% body fat at his peak. Sounds kinda' fishy, but he WAS cut up like no other. Does anyone know what kind of body fat percentages body builders have?

Yeah, you're right. I went back and re-did some research. Genetics will determine how they look and how much they show, but not whether or not you can get them to show. Hope that made sense. A 5% - 7% body fat ratio will guarantee abs.
Back to the wheel...

From what I understand, whether or not your abs show is more genetic than anything. However, to help increase its potential visibility, cut back on sodas and snack foods like cookies or potato chips. Cutting back on sodas made mine pop out more that ever and I noticed results in about 2 weeks.
But those damn genetics, they'll get ya.
