American Parkour

This month is a handy little drill for underbars. I taught myself really slick underbars using this method and still practice this every once in a while. It is such an easy drill to do and will have you doing tight underbars in no time. So go try it out and be sure to leave a comment here about how it went.

Dang dude... that's incredable! I can do just about every available Pk move except that one. And now, (Thanks to your awesome expertese) I will probably be able to nail this God Forsaken move. Thanks man, Keep it up.

In the vid it looks like you're clipping against the tape in the last two, is that your head, your back, or my imagination?

Dude, what a great idea. I love stuff like this b/c it's using what you have in a new and better way... much like Parkour in general!

Another thing along these lines is to put bars or baby gates in some doorways of your home. That way you can practice vaults while just walking from room to room. I have a pet rabbit, and use baby gates to keep her out of certain rooms, so I practice jumps that way.

yes I do brush my back against the tape in the video clips. but only because i am pushing myself to get through as small of a space as I can. :P also, when doing underbars outside, its not the end of the world if you hit the object a tiny bit. your momentum will carry you through regardless.

way to go demon :D, i remember that uderbar we did at the labor day jame through the, "D" i think, in the world trade center sign, i touched the the bottom of the letter with my back and i thought i wasnt going to make it. 

I remember you telling me this about a year ago. Great idea, I hope to put it to use soon enough! :D

Apart from the UNBELIEVABLY corny title, this is some good stuff. If I didn't have so much scaffolding around my training areas, I would definately do that!  ;D

I liked it, I have always sucked mega balls when it came to underbars and now I don't. Tried it last night. coo man coo, oh yeah and the name is very corny lol.

Been practicing this method for awhile now-- Well since you introduced it to me a month or so ago.

IT HELPS IMMENSELY!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH GO OUT AND DO IT NOW!!! I went from 3 ft wide underbars to 1.5ft ! Its insane. Hopefully I will get my technique down where I can get it to at least 1ft wide smoothly.

Leon, lets work on some 1 foot wide 360 underbars!

great results with this idea!

only one bad bail.....did a 360 version, cought my feet on the tape, which held, and i fell backwards onto my upper back/head

but for the rest of the time, this helped alot with my technique! thanks!

Thats sweet, the fun of underbar without the fear.  I've clipped my back quite a few times, so now I can practice until my mom figures out I didn't do my chores ;D.

Tried it out today, it's awesome, and later on that day when I was out with my mates I saw an underbar opportunity and I did an underbar. Two days ago I wouldn't have done that. So, nice one Demon ;D.
