Free Flow Academy of Hybrid Arts is opening later this month. It is the first Parkour Gyms in the greater Sacramento area. They will offer Martial Arts Classes (Various Stryles), Dance, Acting, Music, Kettlebell classes, and of course Parkour.
The Parkour classes will be tought by:
Corey Romines a Kinesiology major who has developed Parkour classes which currently have 160 students. He has trained with SF Parkour in sacramento and recently returned from a trip where he trained Parkour over the summer with some of the best in Europe.
Vicor Lo Forte a traceur who according to his bio focuses around being able to adapt to the real world and all "it's uneven, slippery, stickery, unstable, loose, and sharp features." "He's learned some important practices "and has devoted himself to many habits to encurage safety and efficiency."
Derek Stroup, who has been training since highschool and has pursued topics to increase his knowledge in both college and his everyday life.
Doug Pryor a personal fitness and art student at Sierra College. He has goals of becomng a personal Parkour trainer and loves art in all it's forms.
And Trever Ahnig a traceur with background in tumbling. He will use his experinece to help teach students the more acobatic moves involved in free running. |
